Abstract
I’ll explain that at the `tensionless’ point for AdS3 string theory, there exist two different CFTs with sl(2,R)_{k=3} symmetry. One of them is much simpler and exhibits delta-function localising correlation functions, while the other is the specialisation of the usual WZW model to k=3. This resolves some puzzles of AdS3 holography which I’ll also discuss.
