Abstract
We discuss a framework for quantifying random matrix behavior of 2d CFTs and AdS3 quantum gravity. This permits the formulation of a precise conjecture for chaotic CFTs and random matrix behavior thereof. We use this framework to understand the Cotler-Jensen torus wormhole of AdS3 pure gravity from a microscopic CFT point of view; factorizing the wormhole generates a new, non-perturbative piece of the AdS3 pure gravity torus partition function.
