Abstract
My long term interest are the equilibrium time correlations of one-dimensional quantum systems. To make progress I will discuss the discrete nonlinear Schroedinger equation as semi-classical limit of the Bose-Hubbard chain and the lattice Landau-Lifshitz equation as semi-classical limit of quantum spin chains
