As part of the ICTS Open Day 2025, the astro club will set up an in-house telescope to observe the Sun, with visitors invited to view and count sunspots. Volunteers will be present to explain the observations and answer questions in both English and Kannada. Alongside this, participants will have a chance to observe the Sun in radio waves using a frugal radio telescope built by the team, offering a different way of detecting the Sun beyond visible light.
