International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of TIFR is looking for a highly motivated, self driven individual for the post of Project Assistant (Web Developer). The contract will be initially for a period of six months and may be extended further depending on performance and requirement of the centre.
Position: Project Assistant (Web Developer)
Essential Qualification & Experience:
- B.Tech. (Computer Science / IT), B.E. (Computer Science / IT), M.Sc., MCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science / IT) OR graduate in any discipline with proficiency in web development.
- Minimum one year of work experience/exposure in areas of Website development on open source software, LAMP, knowledge of website security.
- Candidates with good communication and documentation skills will be preferred.
Essential Skills required:
- Web development technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, PHP, MVC framework, Drupal.
Job Profile:
Candidate will be responsible for upkeep and smooth functionality of the website. This involves maintenance of dynamic website, updating data on the website, developing modules on website, understanding the requirement of users and mapping them into technical document for developing website; testing the web modules independently; clear understanding of complete website hosting.
Age: 28 years (as on 1.7.2016), may be relaxed based on higher qualifications and/or experience
Tenure: Initial appointment will be for six months which may be extended depending upon performance and requirement of the centre.
Location: ICTS campus in Hesarghatta
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications and potential and will not be a constraint for outstanding candidates. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
