1. Project Clerk (Accounts)

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate from a recognised University/Institute with an aggregate of 50% marks.
  • Knowledge of typing.
  • Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications – supported by certificates from the institutions.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in clerical duties and correspondence in a large and reputed organisation.

Desirable:

  • B.Com/BBA (Finance) graduates are preferred.
  • Fluent in spoken & written English.
  • Knowledge of Tally software, SAP, Excel and Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of TDS under income tax & GST law, foreign exchange transactions and GOI rules.

Job Profile:

  • Processing and recording of bills/claims related to various activities of the center.
  • Maintenance of Accounts and budget pertaining to various activities including preparation of Statement of Expenditure (SOE) and Utilization Certificate(UC).
  • Payment of Tour advance/Deputation advance and settlement of TA/DA Claims and deputation claims. Maintenance of Tour advance/ Deputation advance registers.
  • Accounting for TDS under income tax & GST law and assisting in TDS payment & filing.
  • Assisting in the finalisation of Accounts & preparation of schedules of financial statements for statutory audit.

 

2. Project Clerk (Establishment & Official language cell)

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate from a recognised University/Institute with an aggregate of 50% marks.
  • Knowledge of typing.
  • Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications – supported by certificates from the institutions.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in clerical duties and correspondence in a large and reputed organisation.

Desirable:

  • Candidates should have experience in Establishment / General Administration in a large and reputed organization.
  • Candidate should have working knowledge in Hindi, Hindi Typing software
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Job Profile:

  • Handling joining and exit formalities, assisting in the recruitment process of the center, managing attendance and leave records, payroll management, data feeding in the ERP software.
  • Updating the personal files, maintaining office indexes, office orders, preparing various letters and correspondence.
  • Managing the Official Language Implementation Committee activities, making quarterly, half yearly reports, conducting quarterly meetings and other secretarial duties of the cell.
  • Any other task assigned by the Section in-charge or Center Director.

 

3. Project Clerk (Program Office)

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate from a recognised University/Institute with an aggregate of 50% marks.
  • Knowledge of typing.
  • Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications – supported by certificates from the institutions.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in clerical duties and correspondence in a large and reputed organisation.

Desirable:

  • Proficient in oral and written communication in English.
  • Proficient in computer skills (like MS Office, Spreadsheets, Google Docs, etc.) and with excellent interpersonal skills.

Job Profile:

This job involves providing administrative support for all the admin-related tasks of the Centre. This broadly includes the following functions:-

  • Sending approvals, travel norms, and guidelines to organizers, documents to TIFR and the department (DAE) for program and budget approval.
  • Creating a program page, registration form, participant list, coordinating for the Ministry of External Affairs(MEA) / Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) clearance.
  • Logistical arrangements for programs, handling registration and participant queries, issuing certificates, collecting feedback, updating statistics.
  • Any other task assigned by the Section in-charge or Center Director.

 

4. Project Clerk (Academic Office)

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate from a recognised University/Institute with an aggregate of 50% marks.
  • Knowledge of typing.
  • Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications – supported by certificates from the institutions.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in clerical duties and correspondence in a large and reputed organisation.

Desirable:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and database management.
  • Experience in handling graduate programs, postdoctoral programs, and visiting student programs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with fluency in English.
  • Ability to maintain records, manage documentation, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Prior experience in an academic or research institution will be an added advantage

Job Profile:

  • Providing administrative support for the day-to-day activities of the Academic Office.
  • Assisting in the administration of graduate programs, including course registration, updating course details on Moodle, academic documentation, contingency, synopsis seminars, thesis defences, and certificate printing.
  • Handling the requirements of the postdoctoral programs, hiring and offers, extensions, and related processes.
  • Handling administrative requirements of the Visiting Students Program.
  • Maintaining and updating the records and databases of students and postdocs
  • Preparing NOCs for visas, extension letters, honorarium notes, certificates, and reports.
  • Coordinating MEA and DAE approvals for international students and postdoctoral fellows.
  • Arranging ticket bookings for official visits, maintaining office space allocations for academic members
  • Coordinating seminar room bookings, compiling AQAR data, assisting with various reports.
  • Any other task assigned by the Section in-charge or Center Director.

 

5. Project Clerk (Civil/Engineering Section)

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate from a recognised University/Institute with an aggregate of 50% marks.
  • Knowledge of typing.
  • Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications – supported by certificates from the institutions.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in clerical duties and correspondence in a large and reputed organisation.

Desirable:

  • Proficiency in shorthand (typically 80–100 words per minute for general/corporate roles, or around 55 wpm minimum) and typing speed of 40–50 wpm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a high degree of discretion and integrity.
  • Experience in a corporate, legal, educational, or government office environment is preferred

Job Profile:

This job involves providing administrative support for all the purchase/stores related tasks of the Centre. This broadly includes the following functions:-

  • Managing daily administrative tasks, takes dictation in shorthand, transcribes notes,and provides high-level secretarial support to executives or department heads.
  • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of documents related to civil works, engineering projects, maintenance works, and contracts.
  • Any other task assigned by the Section In-charge.

  1. All the above posts are tenable at ICTS, Bangalore.
  2. Appointments for the above posts will be initially for one year, which may be extended depending upon the individual’s performance and the requirements of the Centre.
  3. The applicant's age must not exceed the prescribed limit as on the closing date for receipt of applications. Age relaxation as per rules. The essential experience will be considered until the closing date of applications.

In the absence of the same, the candidature will not be considered.
    5. Experience certificate/s from the employer giving full details such as joining date, position held, salary drawn, the period of employment and reason for leaving etc. Please note that salary slip and appointment/offer letter will not be considered as proof of experience.
  5.
