ICTS International Advisory Board member William Bialek has been elected to the prestigious American Academy of Arts and Sciences (AAA&S).

Prof. Bialek has made pioneering contributions to biological physics and chaired a committee constituted by the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (USA) on the Decadal Survey of Biological Physics/Physics of Living Systems. He played a key role in the recognition of biological physics as a field of physics, alongside more traditional fields of physics. ICTS congratulates Prof. Bialek for this recognition.
