ICTS Visiting Professor B. Sury has been elected a Fellow of the Indian Mathematical Society (IMS). This is only the second year in which the IMS has inducted Fellows in recognition of outstanding contributions to mathematics.
Prof. Sury’s research focus includes algebraic groups over global and local fields, arithmetic groups, division algebras and combinatorial aspects of group theory and number theory.
ICTS congratulates Prof. Sury on this distinguished recognition and extends its best wishes as he continues his engagement with ICTS and his contributions to mathematics.
