Former ICTS graduate student Aditya Singh Rajput has received an Honourable Mention in the best thesis commendations of TIFR for his thesis, “Physics of Cytokinesis,” written under the supervision of Vijaykumar Krishnamurthy. He is presently a postdoctoral fellow at the Francis Crick Institute in London, UK.

This recognition is particularly significant for ICTS, as Aditya’s thesis is the first from the Centre in the Biology subject board. It marks an important milestone in ICTS’s efforts to develop research in biophysics, with Aditya pioneering this area of research at the Centre.
