Blitz in chess is an intense nail-biting form of the game with severe time constraint. "Blitz please?!" is similar in spirit where one has to describe their research in accessible form in a matter of 2 mins, failing which the response from the audience shall be the name of the event itself. The participants will have access to green boards to aid in adding graphic value to their description and also in maki ng it more accessible.

A small token will be passed around along with music being played by Mr. Gobi and the person with the token when the music stops shall be the CHOSEN ONE. As with any game, there is reward as well as ranking for Blitz please?! This, just as in the age old tradition of Big Boss and Indian Idol, shall be done by special judges. Each judge will rate each performance so to speak in a scale of 1-10 and the top three scorers will be given special prizes. After each performance, the host of the event might choose to have a deliberation with the students, analysing the fallacies of the performance.

Here are some of the rigid rules that the participants shall strictly adhere by:

1. No jargon, whatsoever!

2. No equations, whatsoever!

3. Handwaving, highly encouraged!!!

4. Drawing pretty pictures, highly encouraged!!!

All faculties, students and post-docs are highly encouraged to attend the event.
