This one-day symposium aims to showcase recent experimental, theoretical, and computational advancements in soft and living matter. The symposium brings together leading experts spanning topics such as glassy dynamics and non-equilibrium behavior, collective phenomena including traffic flows and jamming, the role of geometry in cellular organization, the mechanics of biological tissues, and emergent behavior in systems ranging from droplet collectives to nano-robot collectives. By juxtaposing perspectives across scales and disciplines, the event seeks to highlight unifying principles and identify new directions for research. The program is designed to foster new ideas and collaborations among the approximately 50 expected participants, including speakers, faculty, students, and postdocs from institutions across India.

Eligibility Criteria: PhD students, postdocs, and young faculty members are all welcome to apply to this program.

Accommodation will be provided for outstation participants at our on-campus guest house.
