    Enable immersive research experiences for undergraduates through Long Term Visiting Students Program and Summer Research Programs.

    LTVSP: Support for 15 UG students annually to spend 2 semesters at ICTS

    Support Needed: USD 0.55M Endowment USD 0.35M (10-year Spend-down) USD 100,000 (3-year grant)

    Summer Research Programs: Support for 15 UG students annually to spend 2 months at ICTS Support Needed: USD 100,000 Endowment USD 60,000 (10-year Spend-down) USD 20,000 (3-year grant)

 
Travel Grants

    Fund international exposure for ICTS researchers at all levels.

  • Faculty (20 annually): Endowment: USD 1.25M | 10 YR Spend-down USD 750K | 3 Yr Grant USD 225K
  • Postdocs (10 annually): Endowment: USD 320K | 10 YR Spend-down USD 200K | 3 Yr Grant USD 60K
  • Students (25 annually): Endowment: USD 520K | 10 YR Spend-down USD 320K | 3 Yr Grant USD 100K
 
Maths Circles

    Support a national initiative to nurture young mathematical talent in schools.

  • 5-Year Grant: USD 125K

For ICTS to be internationally competitive in attracting the best minds, it needs resources on a higher scale and with much more flexibility. The peer institutions we are measuring ourselves up to internationally, have been built on the solid foundations of very generous endowments. A secure endowment will enable ICTS to deploy the resources needed to fulfil its dreams.

        It has truly been an honor and privilege to be a part of the International Advisory Board of the ICTS, and to watch the ICTS grow from a dream into reality. ICTS, now at 10, has already begun to re-shape and significantly enhance the science research landscape of India, through its outstanding programs and lecture series for scientists and for the public, and through the high-level research activities of its faculty and students. I am confident that the next 10 years will bring ICTS to even greater heights!
