In April 2019, during the first month of its third science run, the LIGO-Virgo network detected a compact binary coalescence with total mass ~3.4 M_sol - this is likely the second BNS detection with gravitational waves and an interesting outlier when compared to the observed population of binary neutron star systems. This talk will review the evidence and frame it in the context of neutron star science with gravitational waves.
