Research work: Aerosol-cloud-precipitation interaction is current topic of my research, which is one of the biggest uncertainty in numerical models. The efforts are to connect observations with models and focus on physical processes. Currently involved in airborne experiments on monsoon clouds (Cloud Aerosol Interaction and Precipitation Enhancement Experiment : CAIPEEX) to understand the rain formation process.
