My main research area is the nonequilibrium statistical mechanics of classical many-body systems. The experimental systems we investigate include granular materials, flexible sheets and filaments, and supercooled liquids and glasses. I have active collaborations at TCIS on the physics of elastic objects interacting with fluids.
