The Centre For Artificial Learning And Intelligence For Biological Research And Education (CALIBRE) is an exciting new scientific venture of the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) and the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), supported by Mr. Vishal Gupta, founder of Reed India Consulting LLP, and Major Deepshikha Gupta. CALIBRE will be an interdisciplinary centre dedicated to advancing the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in biological research, education and innovation.
The CALIBRE invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant on a fixed term basis. The position is based at ICTS and is available immediately for a period of up to five years. Appointments will be for one year and renewable annually subject to the outcome of a performance assessment. No reservation is applicable for this post. Remuneration will be based on qualifications and accomplishments, subject to institutional guidelines.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide day-to-day administrative and logistical support to the Executive Manager, CALIBRE and the Resource Development Manager in managing all CALIBRE and endowment-related activities at ICTS.
Key duties of the Administrative Assistant will include:
- Assist the Executive Manager, CALIBRE with routine administrative tasks, manage correspondence, schedule meetings, and maintain organised records and files, help coordinate meetings, workshops, donor interactions, and project-related events, assist with compiling information for reports, and ensure timely data entry for project monitoring.
- Support the Resource Development Office by maintaining donor and grant databases, tracking deadlines, and organising documentation related to grants, donations, and endowments, assist in preparing proposals, donor communications, presentations, and periodic reports related to fundraising and endowment activities.
- General Office Support: Handle routine office tasks, support communication with internal and external stakeholders, and undertake other duties as required for the effective functioning of the project and the resource development office.
Essential Qualification:
- Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- 5 years of experience in a similar administrative role in a reputed organisation.
- Proficiency in MS Office- Word processing/Database/Excel/Presentations etc.
- Proven communication ability both written and oral.
- Strong time-management and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in grant management, nonprofit/research administration is essential.
Salary Scale:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
