Accomodation
The registration fee covers for accommodation for the entire duration of the school, as well as food and other local hospitality. Accommodation will be in IUCAA guest house on shared basis.
IUCAA is located in the University of Pune campus. Basic directions to IUCAA is given here.
Visa
All foreigners need visa to enter India. Visas cannot be obtained on arrival.

Direction to IUCAA - from the Pune airport and railway station respectively are given below. If for any specific reason you need pick up from the airport / railway station, please let us know asap. Please note that, in general, we are not arranging pickups unless for exceptional circumstance. Taxis/Autos are readily available.
Pune airport to IUCAA
---------------------
If you arrive at the Pune airport, we would request you to take a prepaid cab from the Pune airport to IUCAA, which is located within the University of Pune campus -- about 15kms from the airport. All cab drivers are familiar with the University campus, and the road signs in the campus will direct you to IUCAA. (In case the driver is unsure of the route, or location, please call our Nalanda Guest house reception (020)-2560 4500 who will be able to guide the driver). If you arrive at the university after 10pm, please enter the university from the main gate. IUCAA is located close to the Aundh-Khadki gate at the other end of the university. The cab will cost you about Rs. 350-450/-. (We have found that taking a prepaid cab proves to be more convenient than having a taxi wait, since parking is somewhat further away.)
Pune railway station to IUCAA

If you are arriving at the Pune station by train, you should be able to take an auto-rickshaw from Pune station to the campus, which should cost you up to Rs. 150/-. Taxis are also available but less common.

We would request you to contact the reception at the Nalanda guest house at IUCAA on arrival. They will be able to guide you to to your place of stay, and also provide any information or help that you may need.
