Abstract
In the last couple of years, large language models have taken the world by storm, and among their other capabilities, have shown a remarkable ability to create, explain, critique and debug code. These advances are changing the way we – scientists, engineers, and other professionals – are going to write software. In this talk, I will provide an overview of this area both from a research as well as technology point of view, and share some industry perspectives.
