Physicists have a long history of creating new knowledge and techniques in previously unexplored fields. Their training prepares them to tackle problems that have no established frameworks or methods. The speaker will talk about his experiences across multiple domains including quantum transport, telecom network economics, automated machine learning, and the emerging field of artificial intelligence applications. He is the founder & CEO of Lattice Engines, a Silicon Valley based pioneer in AI. Prior to Lattice, he spent several years at McKinsey after receiving a PhD in Physics from Cornell University and an M.Sc from IITK.
