Area of Research:  Differential geometry (Cut locus of submanifolds), Algebraic topology, Polynomial rings (Kaplansky-Lvov conjecture)

I completed my PhD from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata in the department of mathematics and statistics under the supervision of Dr Somnath Basu. My primary area of interest is differential geometry, differential topology and algebraic topology. Broadly, I am working on the cut locus of submanifolds and related problems. In addition to my work in geometry and topology, I also have a strong interest in polynomial rings over non-commutative variables.
