Essential Qualification:

  • Graduate with a minimum of 55% marks aggregate from a recognised university.
  • Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications
  • 2 years experience in Purchase/Stores in a large and reputed organization.

 

This job involves maintaining a record of the capital assets and equipment. To carry out periodic verification and cost-validation. To handle purchasing, accounting, issue and disposal of all types of stores items. To keep an updated record of relevant purchase/tendering rules of TIFR and ensuring their implementation, general administrative and allied works.

Technical Support Engineer (HPC/Networking)

No of post – 01

  • B Tech/BE in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology
  • 6 months of hands-on training will be preferred.
 

The Technical Support Engineer’s responsibilities will include the following:

  • Regular management of the data center facility and HPC clusters at the ICTS-TIFR Campus.
  • Monitor and tune HPC clusters to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Provide monitoring and prompt response to support requests, technical questions and problems encountered by the users.
  • Configuration of the scheduling systems according to the specified user policies.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Documentation of the HPC environment as well as documenting system administration policies and procedures.
  • Install and maintain network hardware and software

IT Assistant - Technician (AV)

  • Diploma in Computer Science OR B.Sc (Computer Science) OR Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
  • 6 months of hands-on training will be preferred.
  • Set up and install equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for seminars, discussion meetings and public lectures
  • Set up and operate sound equipment
  • Set up and operate spotlights
  • Monitor sound feeds to ensure quality
  • Test and resolve equipment issues
  • Switch video input sources from one camera to another
  • Clean audio and video equipment and store properly
  • Maintain inventory of AV equipment

Location:  ICTS campus, Hessarghatta  Bangalore

Salary: Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualification and potential. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.

Age: Age criteria will be relaxed appropriately for candidates with higher work experience (relavent) than essential experience required for the post.

Tenure: The contract will be initially for a period of one (1) year which may be extended up to maximum of three years depending upon the performance of the candidate.
