Professor Jim Thomas has received a grant for the ‘Internal gravity waves and deep ocean diffusivity’ project under the Deep Ocean Mission of the Ministry of Earth Sciences to work on ocean dynamics and the climate.
Jim is an ICTS joint faculty with the Centre for Applicable Mathematics, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Bengaluru.
ICTS congratulates Jim and wishes him all the best in carrying through his proposal successfully and making significant contributions in this critical area.
