As a part of the Summer Program there will be a workshop on "Physical and Systems Biology (WPSB)" for two weeks, from 12 to 25 June.

The purpose of this workshop is to nucleate collaborative interdisciplinary activities, and to bring together researchers located at various institutions to a common forum, to discuss problems of interest, and, to address contemporary issues in the areas of physical and systems biology. The interests within the computational biology and physical biology communities are diverse. During the workshop this year, the focus will be on two themes, on topics related to

  • Cell and Tissue morphogenesis, and,
  • Neurobiology and Computational Neuroscience.

During WPSB we will have a combination of research talks where results are presented and a discussion on open questions. The aim will be to highlight on contemporary theoretical and experimental challenges in the chosen focus topics.
