The RADCOR 2011 Symposium will be held at the Radisson Resort Temple
Bay, Mamallapuram, India. There will be a welcome dinner on Sunday,
September 25, 2011 and the academic program will run from September 26
- 30, 2011.

The web-pages for registration and booking of hotel rooms at Radisson
Resort Temple Bay have now been activated. Please follow the
instructions given below.

The DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION AND ROOM BOOKING is June 30th, 2011.

REGISTRATION

Instructions:

1) First you have to register with the International Centre for
Theoretical Sciences (ICTS). To do this, enter your e-mail address at
the following web-page

https://www.icts.res.in/login_email/

You will then receive an e-mail with a link where you have to choose a
username and password and then login and fill out the REGISTRATION
FORM.

a) Please give full details of your postal mailing address, as this
will be required for the invitation letters to be sent to all
participants for obtaining a conference visa for India.

b) In the field "Research interest" please simply type
"Particle Physics".

c) "Passport Details": Foreign participants are requested to fill out
the corresponding items at the bottom of the form. We will need this
information to initiate the visa process.

2) Then please go to the symposium webpage

At the top, the link "Apply" will lead you to the "APPLICATION FORM"
for the RADCOR symposium (you might need again to login with the above
username and password). All fields need to be filled out, please follow
the instructions given in the form.

a) In the form you can indicate whether you need "Financial
Assistance".  Limited financial support for the stay in the resort is
available for young scientists and people with limited resources.

b) "Presentation": If you want to present a talk, please give some
tentative title and abstract in the corresponding fields.

3) You will receive a confirmation e-mail of your registration (this
might take a few days since it is not automatized) with a link to the
webpage where the booking of hotel rooms can be made. Note: your
registration for RADCOR 2011 will only be complete, after you have
also booked a hotel room.

BOOKING OF ROOMS

Rooms at a special rate at Radisson Resort Temple Bay, Mamallapuram
have been blocked from Saturday, September 24 (afternoon) - Friday,
September 30 (noon), 2011. Shorter stays are not possible. You can,
however, reserve for a longer period, depending on the availability of
the rooms (normal room rates will apply).

Payment through credit card only.

For an additional extra bed in a room (beyond double), Rs. 1500+taxes
will be charged.

Current approximate conversion rates:
1000 Rs = 15.20 Euros = 22.50 US$ = 1834 JPY

Lunch and dinner for conference participants will be paid by the
organizers. Accompanying persons will be charged Rs. 1050 per
meal. All the meals will be served at the resort.

95 rooms are blocked (50 pool view chalets, 20 garden view chalets, 9 bay
view rooms, 16 sea view chalets)

Retention policy
----------------

1) In case of cancellation of room between Sep. 6 - 11, 2011, 2 nights
will be charged.

2) In case of cancellation of room between Sep. 12 - 17, 2011, 50% of
the rate for the stay of the entire period will be charged.

3) In case of cancellation of room after Sep. 17, 2011, the full rate for
the entire intended stay will be charged as retention.

We advise you to obtain some travel insurance which covers these
retention costs, in case you have to cancel your trip in the last
minute.

VISAS

All foreign nationals will require a CONFERENCE VISA to enter India
and attend the RADCOR 2011 Symposium. An invitation letter will be
sent to all participants in early July which will be needed to apply
for the visa. Please inquire at your nearest Indian embassy /
consulate about the exact procedure to obtain a conference visa (and
tourism visa for accompanying persons) for India. Note that it is
possible to stay for some time before and / or after the meeting for
tourism.

TRAVEL and TOURISM

Please refer to Bulletin 1. In particular we advise international
participants to directly fly to Chennai, arriving at the resort in the
night from Saturday, September 24 to Sunday, September 25, 2011. Road
transportation from Chennai International Airport to the hotel
Radisson Resort Temple Bay will be arranged by the local
organizers. We will collect detailed travel informations from the
participants later.  If you have any further questions, please contact
the organizers.

WEATHER

During end of September and beginning of October, Mamallapuram or
Chennai will be mainly dry with few occasional showers with minimum
temperature of around 25 degrees Celsius and maximum of 35 degree
Celsius.  Because the resort is located on the coast, there will be
always some breeze and the relative humidity will be around 75%.

VACCINATIONS

Since India is a tropical country, some vaccinations and precautionary
measures are recommended prior to travel. Please contact your medical
doctor or some specialist for travel to tropical countries.
