Venue: Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore

The purpose of this event is to mark the foundation of a Campus at Bangalore for the newly established International Centre for Theoretical Sciences of the TIFR. The academic program of the event will consist of keynote lectures by leaders in traditional areas of basic sciences as well as in interdisciplinary areas. There will be two panel discussions on interdisciplinary research. There will also be several public lectures by eminent scientists as a part of the ICTS outreach effort.
